I was born and raised in the Southeastern United States (Mississippi, Georgia, North Carolina and Louisiana), and then lived for six years in New York. Although I often think of jazz music, cypress trees and beignets, my home is now Sydney, Australia, a place of lovely birds and beaches and also laughably dangerous creatures. I am the mother of two wild spirits and a sleepy Tibetan spaniel.
